Terms of Service

Effective July 7, 2026

Agreement

These terms apply when you use Tidy — the app at tidy.is and its iPhone and Apple Watch companions. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for anything done with it, including keeping your sign-in email, connected apps, and access tokens secure. You must be at least 13 to use Tidy.

Your content

Your lists are yours. You give us the limited license needed to run the service: hosting, syncing, backing up, and displaying your content to you and to the people you share it with. If you publish a list, you also allow other users to view it and save their own copy. Unpublishing stops new access but doesn't recall copies already saved.

Acceptable use

Don't use Tidy to store or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful; don't spam or abuse the public directory or the reporting system; and don't attempt to break, overload, or probe the service's security or rate limits. We may remove public content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

AI features

Tidy's AI features generate content automatically, and it can be wrong. Check AI output before relying on it. AI usage is subject to fair-use quotas that vary by plan and may change.

Connected apps and tokens

If you connect an AI assistant or create a personal access token, it acts as your account — including permanently deleting content if instructed. You're responsible for what connected apps do with your account; revoke access in settings whenever you want.

The service

Tidy is a young product: features may change, be added, or be removed, and plan limits may be adjusted. We may introduce paid plans; we won't move existing features you rely on behind a paywall without notice.

Disclaimers

Tidy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data — keep copies of anything critical. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using Tidy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; where reasonable, we'll warn you first.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll update this page and the effective date above; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
