Use Siri with Tidy
Add items, check things off, and hear what remains without opening Tidy.
On iPhone or iPad, open Tidy Settings → Siri and enable Siri access. Tidy provides general actions such as Add to Tidy, Remove from Tidy, and commands for reading or completing list items.
For a favorite list, you can also record a direct phrase such as Add to Groceries. Siri then asks what to add and saves the answer to that list without opening Tidy.
Record a phrase for one list
- Open Tidy Settings → Siri.
- Find the list under the recorded-phrase section.
- Add its shortcut and save the suggested phrase, or record a phrase you will remember.
- Invoke that exact phrase with Siri and answer the item prompt.
If a recorded phrase stops selecting the expected list after an app update, remove it from the Siri screen and record it again. Existing saved phrases do not automatically receive changes to a newer shortcut format.
General Tidy actions are also visible in the Shortcuts app, where they can be combined with personal automations.
